Big Creek Guided Canoe & Kayak Tour

Join us for a great paddling adventure on Big Creek. Appropriately called the “Canadian Amazon”. This gentle meandering waterway winds south through the Carolinian forests of Norfolk County into the Big Creek National Wildlife Area, an internationally recognized marsh and wetland, and finally empties into Long Point Inner Bay.

Experienced guides will share their knowledge of the geology, ecology, and culture of this exceptional ecosystem which is part of the United Nations designated Long Point World Biosphere.

You have the choice of 3 packages: full day, half-day morning, and half-day afternoon. All packages include your choice of canoe or kayak as well as life jackets, dry bag, paddles, and water safety kit.

Reservations are required in advance. Please call our office or book online today. Tours are available Wednesday through Sunday.

Lunch can be provided for a fee of $12.00/person - please let our office staff know at the time of reservation if you are interested in lunch.

This is a great, fun-filled day of canoeing and kayaking on Big Creek including time for a short hike to experience the unique Carolinian Forest bordering Big Creek.
